Jewelry designer Clara Chehab was born in Paris and spent her childhood in the French capital and Beirut, Lebanon.
As a young girl, she dreamt of working with jewelry. Her childhood memories of visiting the goldsmith with her late grandmother fueled her passion.
This tradition led to a deep appreciation for jewelry that evokes memories and reinforces familial bonds.
Clara Chehab celebrates the earthly beauty of raw gemstones
transformed in the hands of Lebanese master craftsmen. The designer is skilled in juxtaposing juicy colors, combining raw and faceted gemstones, and incorporating recurring shapes like the half-moon in a sophisticated way. Every masterpiece starts with individual stones that have been specially selected
by the designer. And while each creation is different, all resonate with her distinct, inimitable signature.
Organic Matters
As a rockhound, I seek out the most unique stones in the rough, designing around the way they are rooted in Mother Nature.
I love to celebrate the inherent beauty of inclusions, odd shapes, and the weathered or chiseled textures of geodes and other natural stones. They are the canvas from which all my creations come to life, connecting me and my clients to the organic world.
